Beauty With Purpose Takes Centre Stage at Dublin Multicultural Event

A multicultural beauty pageant in Dublin recently brought together contestants, community representatives and cultural performers for an event focused on both personal achievement and social responsibility.

Twenty-four women from seven countries participated in the programme, which was attended by approximately 450 guests at the Church of Scientology & Community Centre.

Organised by Miss & Mrs Cross Continent Events Ltd. and sponsored by Broccoli Care Ltd., the programme was developed in collaboration with The Truth About Drugs Ireland.

The programme began with an educational exhibition where visitors could review factual information about drugs, addiction and prevention. Many of the contestants studied Truth About Drugs materials in advance, and several completed the full series of fourteen online courses.

Mayor of South Dublin Cllr. Francis Timmons addressed the audience and highlighted the value of cultural diversity, education and prevention.

Cultural performances added eu news ireland to the programme, including Irish dance, Indian classical dance and traditional Indonesian presentations.

Niveditha Vudayagiri, a software engineer with a master’s degree in artificial intelligence, was crowned Miss Cross Continent 2026. The other leading awards went to Fortunate Lindokuhle Masina and Yuki Yuliatin.
